Honors and awards
Education Foundation Honor - Yan Huang Award
In 2010, the Hong Kong China Education Foundation won the “Yan Huang Award” jointly established by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, China Foundation for International Exchange of Personnel and China Association for International Exchange of Personnel. This award is awarded by the State in recognition of the Fund’s commitment to supporting education and training in the mainland over the years, especially in the spirit of talent cultivation in the central and western regions; especially in recognition of the Fund’s cooperation with the State to support the development strategy of Xinjiang and the Western Development Strategy; and for seven consecutive years, the Fund has funded the Production and Construction Corps of Xinyao Weiwuyu Autonomous Region and Xinjiang. Special contributions made by people from Qinghai, Ningxia and Inner Mongolia to Hong Kong for training of civil servants and professionals. Chairman Wang Zhongying, Vice Chairman Jian Xueming and Zhang Yige Yang Xiujie were awarded the “Yanhuang Award” individual paddle plate respectively.
After winning the Yanhuang Award • The Fund has continued to support talent training in the western region for more than ten years.
Ji Yunshi, Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Security and Director of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, presented the "Yanhuang Award" to President Wang Zhongying.

Oasis Friendship Award
September 29, 2014 • Ms. Wang Zhongying, Chairman of the Hong Kong China Education Foundation and President of the Hong Kong Institute of Finance and Management, was awarded the first “Oasis Friendship Award” in recognition of the outstanding contribution made by the Hong Kong China Education Foundation to the economic construction and social development of the Corps through the tireless funding and training of Xinjiang Corps’ divisions, regimental commanders, field commanders and professional personnel for more than 10 years.
