GBA Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Foundation
Founding background
Founded on June 27, 2022, the GBA Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Foundation is a non-profit foundation registered by the Hong Kong Government. In order to actively respond to the vision of Hong Kong on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its return to Hong Kong to build an international center for science and innovation, so as to better integrate into the overall development of the country, especially the Greater Bay Area, the Association is committed to the integration and innovation of science and technology in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, actively promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements of young scientists, and cultivate the awareness of innovation and enthusiasm for science and innovation among young people.
The Association was jointly initiated by the Hong Kong China Education Foundation, a charitable organization based in Hong Kong and committed to education development for a long time, and young core professionals and professionals from patriotic and loving youth organizations who are interested in the development of the Greater Bay Area, especially Hong Kong youth science and technology. In the process of establishing the Association, we have also received strong support from Deloitte China, an internationally renowned professional service agency, the Greater Bay Common Home Youth Foundation, which aims to serve Hong Kong youth, and the Hong Kong Institute of Finance and Management, a professional institution in Hong Kong’s academic education and training
Committee
Each committee will employ experienced professors, industry experts and professionals in their respective fields as consultants, and each committee will set up executive committee and members responsible for the daily affairs of each committee, including:

The Association will make full use of the resources of the Association to incubate and empower science and technology enterprises, and wholeheartedly welcome science and technology enterprises, science and technology investment institutions, or industrial entities focusing on science and technology innovation and science and technology mergers and acquisitions, as institutional members to join, the Association to help incubate empowered science and technology enterprises:

Zhixin Hozheng regenerative biotechnology
Chinese Academy of Sciences incubated innovative enterprises, with the world’s leading endoderm stem cells and their core technology of in vitro directed differentiation, pioneered the treatment of insulin medical diabetes by autologous regenerated islet transplantation.

Hku incubates innovative enterprises and uses its own patented OPA cyclization technology to conduct high-tech platform for high-throughput cyclic peptide drug screening.

Youth innovation activities
In response to the national call for the integrated development of science and innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and youth innovation and entrepreneurship, CYAC actively organizes scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship activities such as incubation, cooperation, transformation and financing of scientific and technological achievements. At the same time, it is duty-bound to assume the social responsibility of caring for the community and warming the citizens. The main activities held by the association are: Youth innovation Lecture Hall, Science and innovation policy industry exchange, Youth science and innovation education – member exchange activities.
